wPastor Greg McFarren has been the Lead Pastor of Metuchen Assembly of God since January 2008. A native of Metuchen, he grew up in this community and this church almost his entire life. At the age 15 he received the call of God on his life and desired to pursue full-time Christian ministry.
He graduated from Zion Bible College in Barrington, Rhode Island now Northpoint Bible College. There he met his lovely wife, Dawn, and were married before entering full-time ministry. Together they have two sons, Ethan & Benjamin.
Pastor Greg has served in various roles of ministry with the vision to see the body of Christ encouraged, equipped, and empowered to exercise their unique spiritual gifts, talents, and abilities to advance the Kingdom of God.
Pastor Solomon Karunakaran - assistant Pastor
Pastor Solomon Karunakaran obeyed God’s call to serve full time in the church after working as a Technical Writer in the IT industry for approximately 18 years in India, Singapore and the USA. He graduated with a Master of Divinity degree from Alliance Theological Seminary, Nyack, New York in May 2010. He joined the staff in December of 2010.
He is married to Preethi Solomon and has four children Rubin, Robin, Rhema and Reshma. He desires to love and serve the Lord by loving and serving the people with the gifts the Lord has given him. He desires to teach and preach the Word of God with utmost clarity and boldness to make disciples of all nations.
samson mathews - sENIOR ACCOUNTANT
Samson Mathews joined Metuchen Assembly of God as Senior Accountant in January 2020. He has a background in finance administration and has served in various ministries. He is strongly committed and passionate about seeking the Lord, serving others, and glorifying God in all things.
REV. Karen Scott - Church Secretary
Rev. Karen Scott has been the Church Secretary at Metuchen Assembly of God since 2004. She assists the Pastors and the Church Staff in all aspects of secretarial/administrative support. Rev. Karen became a member in August 2017. Her prayer is that every person she meets in person or over the phone would sense the love of our Lord and Savior, JESUS CHRIST.
